From Friday 5th June through to Saturday 6th June, we completed our 24-Hour Football Fundraiser in support of The Brain Tumour Charity , and we're incredibly grateful for the support we received along the way
Held in memory of our dear friend Sue Hebson, the fundraiser was particularly close to our hearts. Sue's son, Robbie, is a valued member of the Atkinsons team and showed incredible dedication throughout the event, spending over 24 hours on site and playing more than 9 hours of football!
A huge thank you to Penrith Football Club for hosting us and generously allowing us to use their excellent facilities throughout the event. Thank you also to the local businesses that got involved, and to our staff and volunteers who all played a huge part in making the fundraiser such a success.
The community spirit on display throughout the challenge was outstanding, and we're proud of what we achieved together!
